Synopsis
In 1983 the college basketball world was introduced to Phi-Slamma-Jamma, otherwise known as the Houston Cougars. With a cast of such stars as Clyde Drexler and Akeem Olajuwan, the Houston Cougars ran over almost every team that got in their way. After dismantling Louisville, the #2 team in the country, in the semifinal, the Cougars found themselves matched up against a much weaker N.C. State Wolfpack team. North Carolina State had lost ten games during the season, and had barely squeaked into the NCAA tournament. But after wins over Pepperdine, UNLV, and Virginia, the Wolfpack found themselves still standing with a chance to claim the school's second NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.
