Feels like real leather. Easy to grip and throw, and easy to catch (doesn't "slap away" off your hands like some other synthetic material footballs do). Have only used it several times, so not sure how long this football will keep its "tackified" feeling. Based on the low price, get it. Play the game we all love in the rain, snow, mud, or living room LOL!

I have owned two of these and I'm getting a third one! It's the best football under $20. It gives you easy spirals and it doesn't hurt your hand when you catch it bare hand. It gives you good gripe and the weight distribution of this ball is balanced. Buy this for any event. Don't buy Nike football. They are the worst. Wilson football is the way to go!

Good football for the price. It's easy to grip. It's a pretty big football so it's better suited for high school kids or older. Does have a bit of a rubber feel to it though.

I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. The tackified surface really helps you get a grip on this ball. Thought it would be a good product for him to learn how to throw a football. Will not prepare for the slick feel of an official leather football, but good to learn the basic fundamentals of slinging the pigskin.
